Recently, Icey Mike Imber, Kimbo Slice’s manager and long time friend was interviewed and gave fans a glimpse into Kimbo Slice’s career within the next 2 years. First off, Mike Imber expressed that he hoped with hard-work and determination, Kimbo would get a “big fight with a big name” which is what ultimately fans want. Of course, he realizes that this takes hardcore training and he is there to provide Kimbo Slice with top notch training and all the support a manager and friend gives and can offer.
He also mentioned that fans of the street fighting legend might be seeing more of him in the Hollywood industry. As you may well know, Kimbo Slice already has made various appearances in movies and on TV. The latest though and biggest movie role he’s ever had is on The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption. Be sure to pick up your DVD copy on January 17, 2012 when the movie is released (Just around the corner.) The movie promises to be action packed and jammed with galore of fighting/battle scenes.
Icey Mike Imber also, mentioned that he’s gotten together with actor and director: Kevin Connelly, he’s an actor and director that you might be familiar with as he’s the star of HBO’s “Entourage” long running series. They’ve discussed Kimbo Slice’s life story and development for a possible theatrical release. “Wouldn’t that be something else?” Personally, I’m stoked about the possibilities. So all in all it seems that Kimbo Slice’s career in the next two years should be blossoming in more ways than one…
